The Best Day and Time to Submit Your Resume Is…

Getting your resume noticed is no easy task. Because no matter how great it is, no matter how many skills you have, and no matter how well qualified you are for the position…

As many as 250 other people could be submitting resumes for the same job.

This means your resume may have a less than one-half of one-percent chance of being noticed (if the hiring manager reviews all of them, that is).

But don’t let these “odds” get you down. You see, today, FindYourJobNow.com is going to show you how to increase your odds of getting a job interview by at least 10%...

Putting you in a much, much better position to get hired!

So, let’s get to it.

Now, experts say that you should be submitting about 10 resumes per week in order to land an interview.[1] This means you should be applying for at least two jobs every workday, at a minimum.

The good news for you is this:

FindYourJobNow.com adds enough new job postings, every day, for you to easily apply for two or three jobs daily. In fact, we continuously add so many new jobs, that you could apply for perhaps dozens a day.

All you have to do is keep checking back for new job postings, find the jobs you like, and apply, at least twice a day.

But…

Although you should be applying for at least two jobs every day, there are certain days and times that are better than others when it comes to resume submissions.

Today, we’ll show you which day of the week is the best for submitting your resume (or applying for a job) and we’ll show you the best time of day to submit or apply.

Now, let’s assume the job you want is with a company that’s open Monday through Friday. For obvious reasons, submitting your resume at 5pm on Friday afternoon is probably not a great idea. By the time Monday rolls around, that 5pm Friday submission (or Saturday submission) means your resume will be buried at the bottom of the stack.

But, if you do submit your resume, or apply for jobs on Fridays (which you should definitely do), be sure to do it early in the workday, before hiring mangers “check out” for the weekend.

So, the best time to submit or apply for a job on a Friday is probably between 9am and 11am. But Friday is not the best day to apply…

That would be Monday.

According to a survey cited on LinkedIn, submitting your resume on Mondays gives you at least a 10% better chance of getting an interview.[2]

Monday also happens to be among the most productive days for hiring managers; so, by submitting your resume either late Sunday night, or early Monday morning, you could up your chances of your resume landing at the top of the stack.

But never be restrained by Mondays or Sunday evenings. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are great too. However, during the workweek, be sure to submit resumes before 11am.

Why 11am?

Well, no matter what day of the week, a survey from MoneyPenny found that most employees, including hiring managers, are most productive before 11am.[3]

Meaning hiring managers are more engaged with their jobs (finding candidates) before lunchtime.

So…

You we suggest you submit your resumes to at least two or three employers every Sunday evening through Friday morning (before lunchtime during the workweek, and after 7pm on Sunday evenings), with Monday mornings being the best day to submit.

However, all of the “day and time” rules go out the window when a new job is posted on FindYourJobNow.com

You see, when a new job is posted, it could mean the hiring manager is looking for resume or application submissions, at that very moment.

Pounce on it!

This is why it’s so very important to check FindYourJobNow.com’s new job postings at least twice a day, every day. Afterall, you can’t get the job you want if someone else gets it first.
