Summer is winding down, and so are the summer jobs. But just because one season is ending, it doesn’t mean the seasonal jobs are. You see, with autumn on the horizon, an entirely different “group” of jobs are about to become available…

And the time to apply for them is right now!

Today, FindYourJobNow.com will share some great autumn jobs you should consider applying for, and we’ll show you how to find one of these jobs near you. But what’s even better, a lot of these “seasonal” jobs we’ll show you can easily turn into full-time, year-round jobs… Jobs that can become careers!

So, with that said, we’ll share the jobs with you, then show you how to find one in your area.

Ready?

Let’s go!

Depending on where you live you may already be seeing it. Halloween related items popping up in retail stores. And entire Halloween themed stores themselves are now popping up. Because we’re entering the spooky season, many of these Halloween themed stores have already begun hiring.

Yes, working in a “holiday” store is often a temporary job, but even so, the pay can be pretty good. Take Spirit Halloween, for example. Sales associates can earn about $20 an hour, depending on the location.[1]

But it’s not just retail that hires for Halloween. You can find party and event planning companies hiring, pumpkin patches and apple orchards will soon be hiring… so will haunted houses and more!

Now, what about some jobs that can be more permanent? Well, retail jobs are, in general, more plentiful as we head into the fall. With holiday shopping now beginning earlier than ever, retailers need sales associates, warehouse associates and even delivery drivers.

And… If you’re good at these jobs, chances are the employer may want to keep you on, year-round, because retailers need managers too!

The same goes for restaurant and hospitality staff. Restaurants often see their highest traffic from spring through the fall.[2] But what’s great about jobs in hospitality is the benefit of tips!

Get this, over half of a server’s earnings come from tips, 58.5%. With the “no tax on tips” legislation having passed, a whole lot more money will stay in a server’s pocket.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the median hourly wage of restaurant servers is $15.30. Now, how big could that pay go if you work at a restaurant that has good tippers? Especially if they’re tipping during the holiday season? It could be big money.

One server, who works at Texas Roadhouse, @marlenakelly, shared her weekly cash earnings on her TikTok account…

Showing off $920 in cash, in just a week!

Another Texas Roadhouse server, @post_maddie, posted on her TikTok saying she makes hundreds of dollars a day… with a one-day total of $455![3]

You see, even though it’s “back to school”, and the summer has wound down, there are a lot of very good seasonal jobs for fall that are now just becoming available. And you should apply!

Here’s how…
